In the 13th minute, Profana's Arnaldo de Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Betinho do Vale. Betinho do Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tostão Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betinho do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tostão Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Arnaldo de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SE TICO MIA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tostão Trancoso 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Kiko Barreto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Arnaldo de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tostão Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho do Vale having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, SE TICO MIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnaldo de Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Tostão Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Tostão Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho do Vale was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Luan da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho do Vale having to interfere. Betinho do Vale came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Profana's Tostão Trancoso. But to his dismay, Tostão Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Arnaldo de Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Tostão Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Reynaldo Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SE TICO MIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Carioca couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Eduardo Barros put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulão Gonçalves. Tostão Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betinho do Vale having to make a save. Arnaldo de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Betinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Tostão Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betinho do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Betinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Trancoso in the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Eduardo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eduardo Barros came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SE TICO MIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Barros couldn't finish the play. Profana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
