Though ot was a great shot Lib57 FC's keeper Gonçalo Albuquerque was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Lib57 FC's zone, Arnaldo de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Albuquerque came out of the goal and Arnaldo de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Galvão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Arnaldo de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gonçalo Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Trancoso to make the kick off. When the referee ended the match the Profana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
