An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Teles in the 4th minute of play forced MacTakCG's goalkeeper Zé Pedro de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Maicon Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Diorama AD's Mário Sousa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zé Pedro de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Ronaldão Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Cerezo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee gave Diorama AD a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mário Sousa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MacTakCG's Zé Pedro de Alcântara. 0-1. Didi Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Didi Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Ronaldão Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diorama AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Didi Schmidt made a kick off. Eugênio Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugênio Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MacTakCG getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eugênio Vides hit a great ball. Luan Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro de Alcântara having to interfere. The Diorama AD fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Diorama AD's Luan Teles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simão Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Schmidt in the 64th minute of the match. Ronaldão Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in MacTakCG's zone, Luan Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro de Alcântara came out of the goal and Luan Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Didi Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 96 minutes of play, Diorama AD's Luan Teles made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diorama AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
