Gláuber de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Sarmento in the 14th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Roberto Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool de Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Arapuca the free kick. Roberto Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Bruninho Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Arapuca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Rosado in the 83rd minute of play forced Liverpool de Salvador's goalkeeper Gláuber de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Arruda scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernani de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruninho Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gláuber de Brito made a huge save. The Liverpool de Salvador support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
