The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Liverpool de Salvador. Rogério Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes OldSkull United got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Negri. After a defensive mix-up in OldSkull United's zone, Juan de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Sergipano came out of the goal and Juan de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gláuber de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Gonçalves in the 27th minute of the match. Rogério Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gláuber de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Donato in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Rogério Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Armando Sergipano. OldSkull United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Rogério Arruda made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes OldSkull United got a freekick which was hit by Victor Braga. 56 minutes into the match, OldSkull United's Marquinhos Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gláuber de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Liverpool de Salvador defense, Marcus Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber de Brito. The Liverpool de Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber de Brito should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes, OldSkull United's Victor Braga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gláuber de Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OldSkull United reached it. Armando Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Arruda in the 75th minute of the match. Gláuber de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Gonçalves in the 77th minute of play. Marcus Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber de Brito having to interfere. The supporters of OldSkull United booed when Liverpool de Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. The OldSkull United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
