If Zézinho Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Antunes in the 8th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Antunes came free, but Donato Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's zone, Zézinho Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Varela came out of the goal and Zézinho Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mandante's Décio de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Ademar Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Zézinho Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Varela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Antunes in the 31st minute of play forced MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's goalkeeper Donato Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Josué Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mandante's Décio de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Simões made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's Josué Moraes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zézinho Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Donato Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Ezequiel Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's Donato Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Mandante's Armando Ortiz got control of the ball when Josué Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's Rafael Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evandro Botelho's late challenge caught a MzINJUSTICEinThisGame's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Mandante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mandante's Ezequiel Maranhense got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rafael Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Ortiz having to interfere. Armando Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
