Gualter Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualter Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Gualter Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. César Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Vase having to make a save. With his leg Radoslaw Barniszke managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when São Thiago Matamouros's Aníbal Brodel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jardel Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radoslaw Barniszke was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The wind increased when Aníbal Brodel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Jaraguá got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Veiga. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radoslaw Barniszke was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of Jaraguá booed when São Thiago Matamouros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radoslaw Barniszke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Magne Vase made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Oliveira in the 87th minute. São Thiago Matamouros walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
