The supporters of Moura13 booed when Rio Grande Do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moura13's Cristian Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Freire in the 18th minute of play. José Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Marques having to make a save. Lúcio Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evaristo Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joaquim de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Grande Do Sul's Joaquim de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Cerezo in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Rio Grande Do Sul's José Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lúcio Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Moura13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Cerezo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Moura13's zone, Dorival Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Marques came out of the goal and Dorival Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cristian Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Edvaldo de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Grande Do Sul and the Moura13 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Rio Grande Do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo de Almeida. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Nóbrega to make the kick off. José Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Cristian Marques made a huge save. Joaquim de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Cerezo in the 72nd minute of play. Lúcio Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Proença's late challenge caught a Moura13's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Proença helped the player get up and apologised. Roger Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
