In the 36th minute Pedro Paulo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the AtlânticoBBS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Sousa couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, S R G's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Ceresso came free, but Zé Augusto Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Trevisan to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Augusto Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Ceresso in the 55th minute of the match. Washington Pena hit a great ball.
