With an all-out effort, Condicao's Nicolas Chaves threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nilson Barros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Yan Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlhetic Chapacoense. Jarbas Goiano's late challenge caught a Atlhetic Chapacoense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Condicao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Goiano to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Atlhetic Chapacoense's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan França came free, but Nicolas Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando de Salles couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Atlhetic Chapacoense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Condicao.
