Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Bacatuba's Nuno Cardozo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Atlhetic Chapacoense's Carlos Fernando de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Zonta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Bacatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Teixeira came free, but Carlos Eduardo Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Fernando de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carlos Eduardo Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlhetic Chapacoense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandre Prestes in the 11th minute. The corner led Atlhetic Chapacoense's Alexandre Prestes to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Eduardo Zonta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando de Salles notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bacatuba's Carlos Eduardo Zonta. Carlos Eduardo Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Atlhetic Chapacoense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Amauri de Souza hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, Bacatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Nuno Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Flavinho Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlhetic Chapacoense's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Daniel Godoi took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Carlos Eduardo Zonta to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Bacatuba's Carlos Eduardo Zonta got control of the ball when Eurico Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando de Salles in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando de Salles in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Zonta saved Bacatuba from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Fernando de Salles to make the kick off. If Amauri de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Carlos Fernando de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Eduardo Zonta. Bacatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Carlos Fernando de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Zonta came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlhetic Chapacoense's Eurico Valadares. But to his dismay, Eurico Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 72nd play minutes Carlos Fernando de Salles shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Carlos Eduardo Zonta and just under the crossbar into goal. Amauri de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Carlos Eduardo Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando de Salles's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Francisco Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Carlos Eduardo Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlhetic Chapacoense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando de Salles in the 83rd minute of play forced Bacatuba's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Fernando de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Zonta having to interfere. Washington Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Bacatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Vale to maneuver through the defense. Benê Dionísio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bacatuba's zone, Alexandre Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Zonta came out of the goal and Alexandre Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlhetic Chapacoense had played much better football throughout.
