Paulão de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Severo in the 24th minute of play. Zé Paulo Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Paulão de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saraiva.
