After a rather tough play, Motörhead FC's Tadeu Fonseca got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Jeru SS's Gilson Vander in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motörhead FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Jeru SS booed when Motörhead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Motörhead FC's Diego Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnaldo Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Diego Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Conrado Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jeru SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motörhead FC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Conrado Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Matías Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motörhead FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Vander was the one to do the kick off. Agnaldo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Mota in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jeru SS's Caio Maia got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gilson Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Gaspar having to interfere. If Matías Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Jeru SS's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Perez came free, but Agnaldo Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motörhead FC's Manoel Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Mota in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Motörhead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Vander came free, but Gino Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Sergipano came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Motörhead FC's Diego Mota. But to his dismay, Diego Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jeru SS's Agnaldo Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Pinheiro in the 85th minute of play. Motörhead FC's Matías Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agnaldo Sergipano. Jeru SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gino Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Guga de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes Motörhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Pereira. In the 93rd minute Gilson Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
