The supporters of Power Rangers booed when ACHUBESC S C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gil Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ACHUBESC S C's Paulão de Almeida got control of the ball when Gil Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Power Rangers's Ismael Mineiro got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute, Toninho de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Rezende. Power Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, ACHUBESC S C's Eduardo Rossi got a free kick in the 27th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Norberto Campidelis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gil Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Paulão de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Power Rangers. In the 37th minute, Power Rangers's Norberto Campidelis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulão de Almeida. Paulão de Almeida yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Gil Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulão de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráusio Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Norberto Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. Gil Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão de Almeida having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Norberto Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Norberto Campidelis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ACHUBESC S C's Paulão de Almeida. Paulão de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute Norberto Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ACHUBESC S C were furious when Deivid Amaral was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Power Rangers a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Machado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ACHUBESC S C's Paulão de Almeida. 4-1. Paulão de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Márcio Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, ACHUBESC S C's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Campidelis came free, but Paulão de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
