When Célio Pires got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vito Maia was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Vale's late challenge caught a Vira Lata F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Gustavo Vale helped the player get up and apologised. Vito Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Machado having to interfere. Vira Lata F.C.'s Pedro Luís Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Vira Lata F.C. from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Rodrigues in the 90th minute of play forced Vira Lata F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Luís Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When XxSUPERxX's Edmundo Rodrigues in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
