Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hélder Trigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Carlos Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracaibo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Trigo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieguinho Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dieguinho Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jairo Alves sent off a good shot on target. Dieguinho Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Trigo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Anselmo Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Carlos Passos made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Jairo Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieguinho Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Vinícius Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Trigo in the 66th minute of play forced Maracaibo's goalkeeper Dieguinho Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Urucum's Severino Ramos got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Fabiano Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracaibo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Maracaibo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paulo Senna hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes, Urucum's Váldson Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dieguinho Tinoco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urucum reached it. Dieguinho Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Urucum's goalkeeper Vinícius Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Sousa. With a little luck, Urucum's Vinícius Montenegro got control of the ball when Fabiano Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Passos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Montenegro having to make a save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
