Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oscar Godoi started the match with the kick off. Lino Hoffmann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cambuci defense, Oscar Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Gustavo Zonta. The Cambuci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Gustavo Zonta should have stopped the shot. Marcel Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Paulinho Arantes made a huge save. When Marcel Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cambuci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Tasso couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Oscar Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Severo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ECLESIASTES FC! Paulinho Arantes had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Patrick Teles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a beautiful solo achivement in the 29th minute, Patrick Teles easily set the score to 1-1 through a well directed shot that entered the goal by the right post. Claudinei Albuquerque hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Evaristo Brito took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulinho Arantes. Paulinho Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, ECLESIASTES FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Tasso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Tasso to make the kick off. ECLESIASTES FC were furious when Rômulo dos Santos was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 51st minute, one of ECLESIASTES FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ECLESIASTES FC. ECLESIASTES FC:s Paulinho Arantes showed great skill when he stopped Patrick Teles:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Cambuci's Nicolas Veloso got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Frank de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Cambuci booed when ECLESIASTES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 85th match minute, ECLESIASTES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Cambuci's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
