Stormbringers FC's Laerte Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Tasso in the 4th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, King Cobra FC - Stand By's Vitinho Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte Secco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Paulo Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Santana in the 20th minute of play. Vitinho Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitinho Tasso in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laerte Secco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vitinho Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. King Cobra FC - Stand By's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitinho Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laerte Secco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinei Sá in the 40th minute. If Vitinho Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stormbringers FC's Laerte Secco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Stormbringers FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dênis Marinho was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Oliveira threw the ball into play from the sideline. King Cobra FC - Stand By's Rômulo Braga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 58 minutes, Dinei Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. King Cobra FC - Stand By's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Fontes during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Stormbringers FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Fontes. 64 minutes into the game, Vitinho Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Laerte Secco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laerte Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vitinho Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laerte Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When King Cobra FC - Stand By's Vitinho Tasso in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 90 played minutes Stormbringers FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Santana. Vitinho Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Vitinho Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. King Cobra FC - Stand By's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the King Cobra FC - Stand By players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
