Laerte Secco came out of the goal and Frank de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Santana came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Gustavo Zonta could save by the left post. Frank de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laerte Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Tasso in the 23rd minute of play. Laerte Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Cambuci's Marcel Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Laerte Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Tasso in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stormbringers FC's goalkeeper Laerte Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Raimundo Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stormbringers FC's protests and gave Raimundo Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Raimundo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Frank de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambuci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dinei de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Marcel Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Carlos Augusto Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank de Alcântara in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Eduardo Marinho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Stormbringers FC's Carlos Augusto Vergílio in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Cambuci booed when Stormbringers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stormbringers FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dinei de Lima hit a great ball. Frank de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Secco having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Lima in the 68th minute of play. Laerte Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The long shot by Nicolas Veloso in the 78th minute really tested Laerte Secco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Frank de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Laerte Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Stormbringers FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcel Tasso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Frank de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Secco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marcel Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambuci's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cambuci played a much better game than Stormbringers FC and deserved their victory. The Stormbringers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
