Chicão Recife acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilmar Gaspar. Wellington Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of King Cobra FC - Stand By booed when Garibaldi RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Brodel made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by King Cobra FC - Stand By's Armandinho Teixeira. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 52 played minutes King Cobra FC - Stand By got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Lara. King Cobra FC - Stand By's Dinei Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 played minutes Garibaldi RS got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Rodrigues. Chicão Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho Tasso went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Vinícius Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitinho Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Recife. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. When King Cobra FC - Stand By's Vitinho Tasso in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
