Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Flavinho Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Otávio Branco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavinho Goiano, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Branco in the 24th minute of play forced Pindamonhangaba VC's goalkeeper Flavinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Valadares in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Amílton Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavinho Goiano, 2-0. Flavinho Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Santos in the 33rd minute of the match. The wind increased when Cafu Sarmento made the kick off in the second half. Pindamonhangaba VC's attentive Dudu Maranhense managed to snatch the ball when Chiquinho Ferraz made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. A collision led to Majestoso Leão getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abel Pernambucano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Majestoso Leão's zone, Cafu Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Brodel came out of the goal and Cafu Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Majestoso Leão's Otávio Branco got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Pindamonhangaba VC's Felipe Mangueira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Majestoso Leão. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Sarmento got free with Luizinho Brodel in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Valadares in the 68th minute of play forced Pindamonhangaba VC's goalkeeper Flavinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luizinho Brodel having to make a save. Dráusio Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Ferraz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pindamonhangaba VC's Flavinho Goiano. Flavinho Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
