An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Fernandes in the 27th minute of play forced aGalope!'s goalkeeper Valdemar Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dorival Fernandes sped through aGalope!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdemar Goiano. Valdemar Goiano came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cabedelos's Dorival Fernandes. But to his dismay, Dorival Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Norberto Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabedelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Lago in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, aGalope! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Marquez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Fernandes got free with Valdemar Goiano in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdemar Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Lago in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Cabedelos's Norberto Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdemar Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Guto Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cabedelos booed when aGalope! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cabedelos's Norberto Lago in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye aGalope!'s goalie prevented a goal. Cabedelos played a much better game than aGalope! and deserved their victory. The aGalope! players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
