Flavinho Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 7th minute of play. Arnaldo Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Sarmento in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Perobal got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Gaúcho. Perobal's Arnaldo Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Perobal from getting a goal against them. After 36 minutes of play, Pindamonhangaba VC's Cafu Sarmento made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pindamonhangaba VC's Flavinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Gaúcho made the kick off in the second half. Flavinho Goiano made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ronaldo Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. 3-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Cafu Sarmento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60th minute Ronaldo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Soeiro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Tiago Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Ferreira made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Celsinho Prado. Ronaldo Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Goiano having to interfere. Ronaldo Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pindamonhangaba VC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Perobal for a fine match.
