Luiz Eduardo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nuno Cruz's late challenge caught a aGalope!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Tamanqueira got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Cruz. Abel Fontes struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Carlos Augusto de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for aGalope!. If Abel Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, José Carlos Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamanqueira's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Conrado Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Augusto de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Fonseca in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Pedrinho da Mata shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Augusto de Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Cristian Novaes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. aGalope!'s Valdemar Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save aGalope! from getting a goal against them. Abel Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto de Lara having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cristian Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, José Carlos Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamanqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Carlos Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Eduardo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind aGalope!'s goalkeeper Valdemar Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If José Carlos Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Fontes in the 67th minute. When Nuno Cruz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. In the 68th minute, Nuno Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto de Lara having to make a save. With a little luck, Tamanqueira's Carlos Augusto de Lara got control of the ball when Abel Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Conrado Fonseca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 91 minutes into the match, aGalope!'s Abel Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tamanqueira's Carlos Augusto de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Fonseca in the 95th minute of play. aGalope!'s Abel Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tamanqueira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
