Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Urucus EC's Wilson Paraibano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Capia FC's zone, Wilson Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Dracena came out of the goal and Wilson Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belmiro Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Paraibano in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Paraibano in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Dracena saved Capia FC from getting behind. Ruy Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner da Silva in the 13th minute of the match. Wilson Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Dracena having to interfere. Wilson Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belmiro Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ruy Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner da Silva in the 22nd minute of play. Wágner da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Wilson Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Paraibano in the 39th minute of play forced Capia FC's goalkeeper Belmiro Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ruy Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfredo Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Urucus EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Antunes couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wágner da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Wágner da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Wágner da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Paraibano stood somewhat misplaced when Guto Recife came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 63 minute. In the 73rd minute, Enrique Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wágner da Silva struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ruy Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capia FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Capia FC's Wágner da Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruy Paraibano. That made the score 0-2 after 77 minutes of play. Alfredo Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belmiro Dracena having to make a save. Alfredo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Antunes in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Capia FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
