Marquinhos de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Mendonça in the 25th minute of play. Zé Carlos Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Geraldo Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel Matos having to make a save. Jardel Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Salgado in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Severo got free with Jardel Matos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Salgado in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Matos saved Portuguesa Lions from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Salgado in the 40th minute of play forced Portuguesa Lions's goalkeeper Jardel Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredão Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilvan Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Vargas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Diamantino Vargas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After 62 played minutes EONBONGO GAMES FC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Vargas. After 69 minutes of play, EONBONGO GAMES FC's Alberto Severo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jardel Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Raphael Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jardel Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Portuguesa Lions defense, Raphael Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Matos. The Portuguesa Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Matos should have stopped the shot. If Alberto Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Mendonça hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Geraldo Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jardel Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Salgado in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Matos saved Portuguesa Lions from getting behind.
