Wanderson Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Paulo Renato Capixaba made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Neverland's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Pereira came free, but Cícero Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanderson Romero struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Paulo Renato Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neverland. If Durvalino Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Kowa FC's Paulo Renato Capixaba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Kowa FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 20 minutes, Wanderson Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neverland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Paulo Renato Capixaba managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Neverland's Wanderson Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Isaltino Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Neverland's Durvalino Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Capixaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jânio Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Neverland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Amorim couldn't finish the play. Jânio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Capixaba having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nicolas Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kowa FC's protests and gave Nicolas Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Neverland's Cícero Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo de Salles in the 67th minute of play. Paulo Renato Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Amorim in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Neverland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 77 minutes, Wágner Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kowa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kowa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Kowa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Motta came free, but Paulo Renato Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Neverland's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo de Salles came free, but Cícero Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
