Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fábio Sabóia got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Natanael de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ihum's Zeca Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Recife in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Manhumirim FC booed when Ihum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Sabóia in the 24th minute of play forced Manhumirim FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Antunes in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Queirós saved Ihum from getting behind. When Didi Secco fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ihum's protests and gave Didi Secco a yellow card for diving instead. Didi Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gláuber Recife took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeca Queirós. Zeca Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Sabóia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Pernambucano. That made the score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd play minute Didi Secco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valdir Pernambucano. 2-2. 38 minutes into the game, Belmiro Prata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Zeca Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Ihum's Marco Galvão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. In the 45th minute Fábio Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Prata in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Queirós saved Ihum from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natanael de Almeida made a kick off. Zeca Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael de Almeida in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ihum's zone, Belmiro Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Queirós came out of the goal and Belmiro Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Belmiro Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manhumirim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Belmiro Prata got free in front of the goal in the 60th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zeca Queirós was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luizinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gláuber Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Zeca Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Manhumirim FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Carvalho. Fábio Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Manhumirim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Luizinho Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luizinho Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Queirós having to interfere. Zeca Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael de Almeida in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gláuber Recife got free with Zeca Queirós in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Ihum's goalkeeper Zeca Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belmiro Prata. Luizinho Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
