In the 28th minute, Alex Baiano made a precise shot to the right of Júnior Lucas. Itaquarari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Machado in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júnior Lucas saved Itaquarari from getting behind. When Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaquarari's goalie prevented a goal. Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Baiano in the 39th minute of play. The corner led Vicentado SS's Nico Koehler to fire away a dangerous shot which Júnior Lucas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Júnior Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Machado in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Alex Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Marinho to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Alex Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wágner Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas got control of the ball when Wágner Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Vicentado SS booed when Itaquarari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicentado SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Alex Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Itaquarari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Quirino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Baiano in the 82nd minute of play forced Itaquarari's goalkeeper Júnior Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Koehler made a great header on Vicentado SS's corner, it was just that Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas managed to reach the ball for a save. Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Baiano in the 88th minute of play. Wágner Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Júnior Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
