Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Baiano kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Alex Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adhemar Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Wágner Machado sped through SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dênis Soeiro. Wágner Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Soeiro having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Giovanni Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Vicentado SS's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Saldanha came free, but Laerte dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Baiano came free, but Dênis Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Vicentado SS got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Arruda. Caio Coelho, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Laerte dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inácio Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ulisses Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, José Augusto Leite had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Vicentado SS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kléberson Rosa hit a great ball. Wágner Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Soeiro having to interfere. Alex Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dênis Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Vicentado SS's Dênis Soeiro threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alex Baiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dênis Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Eger in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes in the game, Alex Baiano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dênis Soeiro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Alex Baiano lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Dênis Soeiro. Wágner Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dênis Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wágner Machado came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vicentado SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Machado couldn't finish the play. Alex Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's Dênis Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Baiano in the 85th minute of play. Alex Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
