Parau EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trepadeira Atlético Clube the free kick. If Ademir Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedro Augusto Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trepadeira Atlético Clube's protests and gave Pedro Augusto Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. Tarcisio Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match.
