Renan Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Quadros in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Trepadeira Atlético Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Isaltino das Neves hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Vito Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canuma SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 played minutes, Canuma SC's Cauã Ferreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renan Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canuma SC reached it. Bebeto Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Guto Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vito Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Canuma SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Quadros couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guto Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juninho Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Vito Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percival Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bebeto Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Pinheiro having to make a save. Trepadeira Atlético Clube succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Canuma SC had controlled the match.
