Cláudio Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Luan Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored santos's protests and gave Luan Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, santos's Luan Pitta got a free kick in the 10th minute. TradePro SC's Carlos Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save TradePro SC from getting a goal against them. If Sílvio Luiz Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Baptista in the 15th minute of play forced santos's goalkeeper Cláudio Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cláudio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sílvio Luiz Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Luís Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Alcântara was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Víktor Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TradePro SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Afonso Trancoso hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Pedro Augusto Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Víktor Batista made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Arósio. TradePro SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kiko Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Víktor Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, santos's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Baptista came free, but Cláudio Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Afonso Trancoso made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Alcântara. santos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, Luís Baptista notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of santos's Cláudio Alcântara. Cláudio Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Baptista was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes TradePro SC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Moreira. Luís Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cláudio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Branco in the 63rd minute of play forced TradePro SC's goalkeeper Carlos Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sílvio Luiz Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the TradePro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luiz Cabral couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Alcântara was a little too slow when Luís Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-4. TradePro SC's Sílvio Luiz Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luís Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Alcântara was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Sílvio Luiz Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cláudio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Eriberto dos Santos's late challenge caught a TradePro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TradePro SC booed when santos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, TradePro SC's Luís Baptista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 95th minute, Fausto Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TradePro SC played a much better game than santos and deserved their victory. The santos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
