The Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piau AD were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Paulo Meira made the kick off in the second half. Raúl de Toledo in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudinho Falcão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute, Raúl de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Claudinho Falcão was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Raúl de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Falcão was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Piau AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Raúl de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Claudinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo de Godoi having to interfere. Claudinho Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Souza in the 88th minute of play forced Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP's goalkeeper Claudinho Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Nico de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piau AD and the Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Piau AD got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Leite. Piau AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
