After having played for 9 minutes, Rodolfo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PRxHC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Secco in the 15th minute of play forced Tejucopapo's goalkeeper Renan Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Andrade in the 17th minute of the match. Duarte Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Dracena's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Orlando Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Prata having to interfere. PRxHC's Duarte Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Andrade in the 32nd minute of play. Rodolfo França hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PRxHC's zone, Ronaldão Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Antunes came out of the goal and Ronaldão Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mazinho Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, PRxHC's Duarte Antunes got control of the ball when Erik Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tejucopapo's Renan Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Barral in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Dracena in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Andrade was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Erik Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Duarte Antunes made a huge save. Ronaldão Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Antunes having to interfere. Mazinho Secco struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Renan Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PRxHC. In the 67th minute Orlando Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Orlando Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazinho Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tejucopapo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
