Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard dos Santos kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nuno Luz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Henrique Amorim. Henrique Amorim came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Lauro's Alfredo Tande. But to his dismay, Alfredo Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Lagradouro's zone, Alfredo Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Amorim came out of the goal and Alfredo Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes, Lauro's Olívio de Sousa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lauro reached it. If Nuno Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Lagradouro's goalkeeper Henrique Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Henrique Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Lagradouro's Patrick Diniz got a free kick in the 47th minute. Lauro were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Sport Club Lagradouro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dé Fonseca took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sport Club Lagradouro's goalie and right to Alfredo Tande. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sport Club Lagradouro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Sport Club Lagradouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lauro were winning 0-3.

Sport Club Lagradouro's Henrique Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Lagradouro from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Lauro's Alfredo Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 67 played minutes Lauro got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Novaes.
