Alexsandro Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder de Amaral hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Geovânio Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Lauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Esteves to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Luiz Guilherme Munhoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perivaldo Pombal skillfully saved the ball. Alexsandro Arruda was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Nuno Luz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuno Luz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With 31 minutes on the clock, Luiz Guilherme Munhoz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quissaman! When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Lauro's Dé Fonseca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexsandro Arruda. Elder de Amaral's late challenge caught a Lauro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quissaman getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elder de Amaral hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alfredo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Luz to make the kick off. Alfredo Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alexsandro Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lauro's Nuno Luz in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quissaman's goalie prevented a goal. Serginho Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Serginho Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quissaman's Alexsandro Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tande in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Rossi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Perivaldo Pombal, passed just outside the right post. Nuno Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Alfredo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Luz in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexsandro Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alexsandro Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Luz went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Alfredo Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
