Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Raizinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Senna came free, but Álvaro Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Nascimento having to interfere. Iuri Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Raizinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, corinthias fss's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Rocha came free, but Alex Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Álvaro Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elder da Silveira in the 32nd minute. Denílson Meirelles's late challenge caught a corinthias fss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denílson Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. Denílson Meirelles hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Elder da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 87 minutes, Olívio Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raizinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iuri Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Nascimento having to interfere. If Lúcio Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Paiva placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Cunha during the 101st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 101st minute, Igor Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raizinhas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for corinthias fss.
