In the 6thth minute of the game Alfredo Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arcion F.C.'s Wágner Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perivaldo Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Alfredo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguinho Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Fontes's late challenge caught a Arcion F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Lauro got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Esteves. Wágner Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The Arcion F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
