After 8 minutes of play, Grêmio Footbaal PA's Flávio Messias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Décio Arce made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Amorim. Sport Club Lagradouro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nildo Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Grêmio Footbaal PA's Flávio Messias in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Patrick Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Henrique Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Arce in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Meirelles in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Amorim saved Sport Club Lagradouro from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Décio Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sport Club Lagradouro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grêmio Footbaal PA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
