Marcos Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Virgílio Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Diniz was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, O mais Temido Fc's Germano Cavalcante made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the O mais Temido Fc defense, Marcos Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgílio Luz. The O mais Temido Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgílio Luz should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, O mais Temido Fc's Diego Diniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Diego Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. O mais Temido Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes, Iabete FC's Samuel Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgílio Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iabete FC reached it. Marcos Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgílio Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thomás Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to O mais Temido Fc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sydney de Queirós hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in O mais Temido Fc's zone, Vivaldo Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgílio Luz came out of the goal and Vivaldo Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Diniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráusio Sena. That made the score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded O mais Temido Fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iabete FC.
