Clóvis Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, José Vítor Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Trigo. Limeira City Futebol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Limeira City Futebol Club's goalkeeper Cléberson Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Vítor Guedes. Clóvis Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Velloso in the 30th minute of play. Edson Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cléberson Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeraldino FC. The tension between the Esmeraldino FC and the Limeira City Futebol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was a brilliant solo performance by Limeira City Futebol Club's Jacinto Tepedino when he shot the ball into the net to 2-1 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Lara in the 61st minute of play forced Limeira City Futebol Club's goalkeeper Cléberson Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Pinho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. If Anderson Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute.
