Zézinho Ceresso charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Ceresso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ja matei saudade. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Evandro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gil Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Aranha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Moreira couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zézinho Ceresso put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gil França. After 21 played minutes Ja matei saudade got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton de Queiroz. 25 minutes into the match, Ja matei saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Simões came free, but Leonardo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Capixaba hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ja matei saudade booed when Aranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Simões took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Luz. Leonardo Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Evandro Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Evandro Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Doni Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Luz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Aranha FC's Evandro Simões shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The Ja matei saudade players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aranha FC were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro Simões made a kick off. Evandro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Luz having to interfere. Doni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leonardo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Luz having to interfere. Simão da Mata hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Luís Guilherme de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st play minute Evandro Simões came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Luz. 1-4. If Doni Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Leonardo Luz made a huge save. Victor Salgado hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Pena in the 84th minute of play forced Ja matei saudade's goalkeeper Leonardo Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evandro Simõess short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Leonardo Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Ja matei saudade getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hamílton de Queiroz hit a great ball. When the match was over Aranha FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ja matei saudade throughout the match.
