Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Luiz Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. Aranha FC's Evandro Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Gatinho EC's André Luiz Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Eriberto Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aranha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gatinho EC the free kick. Eriberto Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Evandro Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aranha FC's Gil Moreira in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatinho EC's goalie prevented a goal. André Luís Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Simões in the 24th minute. Aranha FC's Luís Guilherme de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Evandro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pereira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Evandro Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luís Pereira was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Carlinhos Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Aranha FC's zone, Zé Pedro Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil França came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro Simões's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Doni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. André Luís Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gatinho EC's André Luiz Rodrigues in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Neto during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute of the match Eriberto Fonseca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Luís Pereira skillfully saved the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Evandro Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gatinho EC's André Luís Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gatinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Pena came free, but André Luís Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Pena in the 73rd minute of play. André Luís Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gatinho EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Eriberto Fonseca shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pedrão Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. If Evandro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Aranha FC were the better team. Aranha FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
