Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Samuca Linhares kicked off to start the match. Osvaldinho Gomes hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that André Luiz Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Quadros was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Asgard FC's Lenílson Britto got a free kick in the 11th minute. Faustão Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Linhares in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Pereira saved Gatinho EC from getting behind. Mauro Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pereira having to interfere. Gatinho EC's André Luís Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Camargo in the 25th minute of play. André Luís Pereira came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Asgard FC's Samuca Linhares. But to his dismay, Samuca Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mauro Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pereira having to interfere. Asgard FC's Mauro Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Asgard FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when André Luiz Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, André Luiz Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni Quadros. Asgard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. André Luís Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Linhares in the 60th minute of the match. André Luiz Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Giovanni Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatinho EC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Rodrigues in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Quadros saved Asgard FC from getting behind. In the 77th minute, André Luiz Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni Quadros. Asgard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The Asgard FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asgard FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
