Rodriguinho de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Leonardo Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barriero EC. After having played for 12 minutes, Umberto Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barriero EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barriero EC's Umberto Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barriero EC's Rodriguinho de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Ja matei saudade's protests and gave Gabriel Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. Fabiano das Neves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Dedê da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Ja matei saudade's Dedê da Silveira threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zézinho Ceresso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dedê da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Ceresso in the 63rd minute of the match. Simão da Mata's late challenge caught a Barriero EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Ja matei saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Barriero EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ja matei saudade for a fine match.
