Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tauapeacu's Manoel Melo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Manoel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Nando Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando Passos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. José Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tauapeacu. The supporters of Cachorro SS booed when Tauapeacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Cachorro SS's Marcel Paranaense in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tauapeacu's Jacinto Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Prata in the 28th minute of play. Dino Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jacinto Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Prata in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Tauapeacu's Manoel Melo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Melo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Lopes saved Cachorro SS from getting behind. Erivaldo Braga's late challenge caught a Tauapeacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erivaldo Braga helped the player get up and apologised. Erivaldo Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Prata to make the kick off. José Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoel Melo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Tauapeacu were the better team. Tauapeacu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
