C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Washington Barros scored to the left of an out of position Marquinhos Gerber, making the score, 1-0. Marquinhos Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Barros in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s goalkeeper Marquinhos Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marquinhos Gerber was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Washington Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Washington Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Marquinhos Gerber didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Marquinhos Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, one of Licor de Xurumela A. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kauã Santana scored 5-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marquinhos Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s Marquinhos Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Licor de Xurumela A. C. from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jeremias Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Kauã Santana made a precise shot to the right of Marquinhos Gerber. Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Marquinhos Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Barros in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kauã Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marquinhos Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Fogo Central's Washington Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Licor de Xurumela A. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Senna. 62 minutes into the game, Fellipe de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Marquinhos Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Licor de Xurumela A. C. booed when CA Fogo Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edmundo Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Licor de Xurumela A. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Marquinhos Gerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Barros's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s zone, Washington Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Gerber came out of the goal and Washington Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Washington Barros came free, but Marquinhos Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Washington Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marquinhos Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Durvalino Matos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Murilo Leme tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marquinhos Gerber. An unnecessary self made goal, 9-0 in the 92nd minute. Kauã Santana struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marquinhos Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Fogo Central. There was no doubt that CA Fogo Central were the better team. CA Fogo Central's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
