The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Azevedo got free with Juninho Viana in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nildo Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Juninho Viana made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo Senna's late challenge caught a Forset Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Mansão FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Senna. Alessandro Coelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Vivaldo Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Gonçalo Senna was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Mansão FC's Gonçalo Senna got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rafael Guerra, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The referee ignored Forset Sport Club's protests and gave Kléber Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. If Nildo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Rafael Guerra sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Vivaldo Queirós threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rafael Guerra this time.
