A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Edmundo Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marquinhos Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Insano Grama e Futsal's Edmundo Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marquinhos Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edmundo Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s Marquinhos Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Vinhas in the 41st minute of play. João Francisco Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. Ernani Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Cerezo in the 51st minute of the match. Edmundo Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Barbosa having to interfere. Edmundo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marquinhos Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Basílio Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. Marquinhos Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquinhos Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Cardoso in the 75th minute of the match. Durvalino Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Barbosa having to interfere. When Edmundo Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Insano Grama e Futsal's protests and gave Edmundo Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Insano Grama e Futsal getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Edmundo Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Insano Grama e Futsal's goalkeeper Ernani Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, João Francisco Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basílio Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Francisco Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
